AHP #151 – Guns In Australia With Mark Latham

Mark Latham has had a long career in politics and political commentary which has spanned over 30 years. Mark was the former federal leader of the Labor Party that lost the election to John Howard in 2004. Mark formed the outsiders after being let go by Sky News for certain remarks that free speech opponents didn’t like. He has become a political commentator and a proponent of free speech in Australia and believes the Labor party are only about identity politics.

Mark Latham shares his opinions on:

  • Free speech and the nanny state
  • His thoughts on the Labor Party in 2017
  • Joining The Rebel Media
  • Mark Lathams Outsiders
  • Firearms registration
  • US school shootings
  • Why status quo gun laws should remain
  • Why he thinks there is no appetite to change gun laws in Australia

AHP #148 – Straight Shooting

Its getting colder this time of year and plenty of people are getting out hunting and enjoying the outdoors. Send us your photos of your AHP sticker location photos and hunting photos so we can post them up on the Facebook page.

We have a few hunting trips coming up and we are also planning an AHP get together on the long weekend in October of 2017. Places will be limited. We will be hunting in a state forest in the Snowy Mountains of NSW. If you have a NSW (R) licence to hunt on public land then keep and eye on the Facebook page for more info. In 2018 we will be planning a state forest hunt in the northern region of NSW. We hope you can make it for some hunting and and good relaxing time.

On this Straight Shooting podcast we discuss:

  • Listener emails
  • Listener voicemails
  • Michael Diamond losing his gun licence
  • Mark Latham joining the LDP
  • The terrible Firearms and Weapons Legislation Bill 2017
  • The imminent reclassification of lever shotgun in NSW
  • The One Nation gun policy and why it needs a major overhaul
